Affordable art auction at the Cambridge School of Art

I've not been to one of these but definitely plan to attend this year. I've heard from others that they're absolutely wonderful and really great fun.  Also, given the outstanding quality of work produced by students (and tutors) at the Cambridge School of Art (now part of Anglia Ruskin University), you're sure to find something brilliant to give as a Christmas present (or keep for yourself -- you may not be able to part with it...!)

*** Happy Christmas! ***

Rebecca Price, Furskin, 1993
New Hall Art Collection, Cambridge

This painting is mysterious and both a little ominous (the dark surroundings) and festive (the glowing yellow light).

Read about how Grimm's fairy tales inspired the artist, Rebecca Price (at the New Hall website).

Have a lovely Christmas, those of you who celebrate it, and those of you who don't:  have a lovely week!
